Description
The Mytherm MW B 46 floor boiler can cover spaces up to 200 m². It can run on pellets or biomass, and through combustion it heats water, which is transported through pipes to heat radiators.
Pellets are ecological fuel derived from the compression of wood from which moisture has previously been removed. It is practical to use, since it is easily transported packed. Due to its high energy density, it does not need much consumption and is more economical compared to oil or wood. Alternatively, it runs on biomass, which comes from compressing logging residues, branches, leaves, sawdust, paper and other organic matter residues. Its great advantage is that it is a renewable energy source and has zero footprint on the environment, as the amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) released during its combustion are captured again by plants.
In order for it to work, a burner must be purchased, which is also responsible for the process of burning the fuel.
It is made of steel and compared to a cast iron one, it shows greater resistance to sudden temperature changes while it is also significantly lighter. At the same time, it has a fairly high degree of efficiency, while its lifespan can reach up to 30 years.
