The STIHL MSA 220 TC-O rechargeable tree trimming chainsaw offers high cutting performance and great comfort in professional tree maintenance, garden and other green space maintenance, but also for municipal services, especially for trimming tree tops and removing unwanted shoots. The STIHL MSA 220 TC-O rechargeable chainsaw with its powerful EC engine has excellent tree care performance. Combined with the powerful STIHL AP 300 S battery it provides excellent cutting performance. When used with this battery, the STIHL MSA 220 TC-O becomes one of the most powerful top-handle rechargeable chainsaws in the STIHL range.

The oil sensor continuously measures the amount of chain oil remaining in the system, thus helping you work efficiently. The LED display keeps you informed of the oil level and warns you of an impending shortage. The integrated throw guide on the fan and starter cover help to create cuts with maximum precision.

Thanks to the electronic operating system with status LED, the operation of the machine is particularly intuitive. The mechanical chain brake also helps with this, also equipped with a status LED. The LEDs are concentrated in a 180° display control, so you can quickly see the status of the tree trimming chainsaw at all times.

Sturdy metal support claws secure the chainsaw to the wood, allowing for very precise cuts. The support nails can be easily replaced.
The cooling air is cleaned by a filter made of non-woven material (fleece) offering long-term protection to the electronic components and the engine. The air filter is cleaned quickly and efficiently.
In the event of heavy strain or a depleted battery, the electrical control system automatically reduces the current, and therefore the torque, by the step-down method. This usually means you can finish the cut you started where other chainsaws would go off.
